At a recent press conference, Nader Mokari discussed the theme for this year, “The Satellite Launcher Revolution.” He emphasized the focus on providing affordable and sustainable access to space, which is essential for delivering reliable space services across various industries.
Mokari highlighted the need for orbital transfer blocks to facilitate movement from low Earth orbits to higher orbits, noting that the space economy plays a crucial role in national economies. He mentioned the Iranian Space Research Center’s ongoing projects under this theme, particularly the Saman series, which will now utilize both liquid and solid fuel.
In addition, he announced the creation of two advanced 3D simulation software programs aimed at minimizing mission failures. These programs will allow for extensive pre-launch testing on the ground, simulating various space conditions to help identify potential issues before the spacecraft is launched.
