Ignacio Edenburg
Founder, Edenburg Hospitality + Amerisafe Industries
Ignacio Edenburg, a resilient entrepreneur, was born in Argentina to immigrant grandparents from Poland. His journey led him from Argentina to Spain and eventually to the United States, where he completed high school and attended university. With experiences across Spain, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina, he has developed a rich, cross-cultural understanding of business and people. Now residing in South Florida with his wife and two children, Ignacio founded Edenburg Hospitality nearly 30 years ago, a full FF&E service company for hotels, and Amerisafe, which manufactures in-room safes for hotels.
With over three decades of experience, Ignacio excels in hotel interior design, hospitality, logistics, and furniture manufacturing. His integrated approach—managing design, logistics, and production through his own manufacturing plants—ensures he delivers both visually striking and practical spaces. This expertise has led to more than 300 successful hotel installations, cementing his reputation as a trusted industry name.
Beyond his business pursuits, Ignacio is deeply committed to service. He has coached youth soccer in Pembroke Pines, supported an orphanage in Venezuela, contributed to post-earthquake relief in Haiti, and backed several cancer organizations in South Florida. His involvement with Jewish and Catholic institutions reflects his dedication to faith and community.
In 2023, Ignacio faced a personal challenge when he was diagnosed with myelofibrosis, a rare and terminal blood cancer. In his search for a matching donor through the Gift of Life Marrow Registry, his efforts sparked a wider initiative, leading to over 3,267 people swabbed, 66 matches facilitated, and 5 lifesaving transplants. His contributions have been recognized with the Gift of Life’s highest honor, the Partners for Life award, and the United Nations Peace Medal in 2024.
