Nobody’s Business: New Walk-Up Kitchen in Downtown Austin

Chef Philip Speer and Via 313 co-founder Brandon Hunt recently opened Nobody’s Business, a walk-up kitchen located within Lavaca Street Bar downtown. The establishment opened its doors on September 12 and offers a unique take on “business casual bar fare.”

The Details

The new kitchen fills the space that was formerly occupied by Turf N’ Surf, which closed in July. Nobody’s Business operates daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. It’s important to note that Lavaca Street Bar is exclusively for patrons aged 21 and older.

On the Menu

The menu features a variety of offerings, including:

  • Starters: Blue corn hush puppies and nachos
  • Sandwiches: Nobody’s Cheeseburger and a fish sandwich, priced between $15 and $16
  • Larger Plates: Sticky baby back ribs and a chilled noodle bowl
