Impression 5 Science Center in Lansing, Michigan, has begun construction on a $3.2 million project called TECH (Teen Exploration and Creativity Hub), designed specifically for teens. The new area will feature various technology and engineering activities, including drone robotics, digital podcasting, and 3D printing, catering to teens aged 13 to 18. The aim is to provide a space for teens to develop real-world skills, engage with STEM careers, and bring their ideas to life. The space is also intended to enhance collaboration, problem-solving, and presentation skills among participants.
The construction is set to finish by April, with the official opening planned for September 2027.
