Watch Party Celebrates Local Celebrity on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ and Promotes Nonprofit
BOCA RATON, Fla. — Jupiter native Tyler Cameron survived week three of Dancing With the Stars on Tuesday night, guaranteeing at least one more week of dancing and an opportunity to raise awareness for his nonprofit.
“We’ll keep voting and we’re asking everyone to vote, too, because we want to see him in the finals,” said Stephanie Goldfuss, a board member of Cameron’s nonprofit, the Andrea C Cameron Foundation. She was among the crowd in Boca Raton celebrating at a watch party.
The event not only aimed to support Cameron but also to educate attendees about the foundation. While many recognize Cameron from his stint as a finalist on The Bachelorette in 2019, those at the watch party know him as the board chairman of the Andrea C Cameron Foundation, named in honor of his late mother.
The organization provides scholarships, college preparation, and career readiness for high school seniors in Palm Beach County. “He’s someone who started this foundation, has a big heart, and truly cares about giving back to his community,” said Staci Fishman, the foundation’s secretary.
Supporters emphasized that Cameron’s participation in Dancing With the Stars extends beyond winning; it’s about drawing attention to the foundation’s mission. “Every week Tyler stays on the show, it’s another week for people to learn about the Andrea C Cameron Foundation and the amazing work we’re doing,” Goldfuss noted.
Fishman added, “He has expressed how excited his mom would be if she could see him dancing right now, and I know he’s making her really proud.” Goldfuss echoed this sentiment, “Yeah, Andrea would be really proud right now.”
