The Baltimore Orioles are set to enhance Camden Yards by removing approximately 2,000 upper deck seats in left field. This area will be transformed into a social space featuring standing-room viewing areas, drink rails, a central bar, and various food and beverage options.
Construction is starting immediately with an expected opening date of March 29 for the home opener against the Toronto Blue Jays. The revamped space will be accessible to all ticketed fans and available for private events on non-game days.
Following these changes, Camden Yards’ seating capacity will be around 40,234. The Orioles have also indicated that more renovations will be announced later this year.
