Crimson Desert: Exploration Expansion Postponed

Crimson Desert’s Charting the Unknown DLC has been delayed for two weeks, now set to launch on October 29, 2026, instead of the originally planned October 15. This expansion will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Developers Pearl Abyss announced the delay via a post on X (formerly Twitter), emphasizing the need for additional time to enhance the gameplay experience. The new release date coincides with the launch of Phantom Blade.

The DLC will allow players to explore the ocean, diving for treasures and ancient ruins, alongside an upgraded building mode for player homes. Players can expect a new storyline featuring characters Kliff, Oongka, and Damiane, navigating a political conflict amid a mysterious presence.
