The U.S. Space Force has sanctioned the launch of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket for the USSF-385 mission, scheduled for Saturday morning at Vandenberg Space Force Base. The launch window opens at 7 a.m., with a backup option on Sunday at 5:49 a.m. After stage separation, the booster will return to the Of Course I Still Love You droneship in the Pacific Ocean for retrieval. Residents in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties may experience sonic booms during the launch, depending on conditions. This marks the booster’s tenth flight, including previous missions for NROL-95 and eight Starlink launches. A live webcast will start about 10 minutes before liftoff, accessible at SpaceX’s website and via the X TV app. Launch schedules may change due to mission requirements.
