Bentley’s All-New Electric SUV: The Torcal
Bentley’s first electric SUV, the Torcal, has finally been unveiled, showcasing impressive specs and striking design elements. This fastback SUV boasts an astonishing 876 horsepower and 996 lb.ft (1,350 Nm) of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds.

Performance and Range
The Torcal promises a range of up to 375 miles (600 km) from its 113-kWh battery, capable of charging from 10% to 80% in 16 minutes. It features advanced technology including a fully active suspension system and an electronic all-wheel steering system for enhanced handling.
Design Overview
The design of the Torcal combines elegance and sporty performance. The front end features an illuminated diamond-pattern grille (which some may find polarizing) and rectangular headlamps, a departure from the traditional rounded headlights seen in previous Bentley models.

The side profile showcases a long dash-to-axle ratio, a muscular design, and a sloping roofline that contributes to its coupe-like appearance. As you move to the rear, you’ll notice sleek taillights and carbon fiber accents, highlighting the sporty nature of the SUV.

Interior Features
Inside, the Torcal impresses with thoughtful details, including a custom Merino wool-based fabric and creative animations for the speedometer. The vehicle also features soft-close doors that operate at the touch of a button, emphasizing luxury and comfort.

Pricing and Availability
The Bentley Torcal is expected to enter the market at around $230,000, slightly below its competitors like the Lamborghini Urus. It will be available for sale starting early next year, with the luxury car scene expecting more entries in the electric SUV market in the coming years, including offerings from Rolls-Royce.
