Pet Blessing Event at Trinity United Methodist Church
Event Details:
- Date: Sunday, October 4
- Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Location: Needle Hall, City Park, Bowling Green
Join us for a heartwarming community celebration as six local churches come together to bless pets, pictures of pets, and stuffed animals! Bring the whole family for an afternoon filled with activities, including:
- Blessing of the Animals
- Family Activities
- Pet-Themed Art Opportunities
- Free Ice Cream for Humans and Pets
We invite local nonprofits dedicated to animal welfare, including shelters and therapy organizations, to share their important work with our community. A silent auction will be held to support the Wood County Humane Society, and donations of pet food, toys, and cleaning supplies are greatly appreciated.
Items Needed:
You can help by purchasing items from the Wood County Humane Society’s Amazon Wish List. Current needs include KMR, kitten pate, bleach, and clumping litter.
A local veterinarian will also be available to provide healthy pet checks.
Important Guidelines:
- All dogs must be on leashes (one animal per handler).
- All other animals must remain in carriers, containers, or cages.
For any questions, please contact Trinity United Methodist Church at 419‑353‑9031.
