CU System Office Relocation to Independence Plaza

In tandem with CU Denver’s analysis, the CU System office is considering relocating to Independence Plaza. This move is intended to optimize space usage and enhance their contribution to downtown Denver’s revitalization. The CU System office, currently in an underutilized building at 1800 Grant St., plans to make Independence Plaza its first new, paying tenant by early 2027, after which its current building will be listed for sale.

Further updates about Independence Plaza will be provided to the CU Denver community as they become available.
