Georgia Bulldogs and Clemson Tigers call off upcoming matchups.

The Georgia Bulldogs and Clemson Tigers have mutually agreed to cancel their upcoming non-conference games, which were scheduled from 2029 to 2032. This decision, confirmed in a document obtained from both athletic directors, Josh Brooks and Graham Neff, follows the trend in college football where high-profile teams are opting for less challenging opponents to protect their playoff chances.

The rivalry between these teams has a rich history, with Georgia winning 44 out of 66 matchups, including their last encounter in 2024. The canceled games were initially agreed upon in 2018 and 2019, set to alternate between both campuses.
