Flint, Michigan, is collaborating with Consumers Energy to provide residents with a new location to pay their energy bills in person. Payments will soon be accepted at the Flint City Services Center, located at 4813 Clio Road, as Consumers Energy plans to close its direct payment office at 3201 East Court Street on November 30.
Mayor Sheldon A. Neeley emphasized the goal of enhancing accessibility for residents, stating, “When an existing option becomes unavailable, we have an opportunity to find another way to serve our residents.” Further details about the payment processes will be announced, including a press conference scheduled for Thursday, September 24, at 11:30 a.m.
