Published: 6:47 am Tuesday, September 22, 2026
Meet Goldie! This lovable 4-5 year old Labrador retriever mix weighs in at 52 lbs. She’s up to date on her vaccines but is dealing with heartworm. The good news? Heartworm is treatable with inexpensive slow kill treatments!
Goldie was owner surrendered after her previous owner was arrested and has since become a staff favorite at the Carthage Panola County Pound. She’s a playful goofball who loves being outdoors and enjoys her treats.
- Training: Goldie is potty trained and kennel trained.
- Compatibility: She gets along well with other dogs, though her stance on cats is still a mystery.
- Ideal Home: Goldie would thrive in a loving home with a fenced yard and space to run.
