Astral Ascent Coming to Nintendo Switch 2
One of the recent hits in the action roguelite genre, Astral Ascent, is set to make its way to the Nintendo Switch 2. As reported by Insider Gaming, the game has received a rating from the Taiwan Rating Board, with H2 Interactive serving as the publisher. H2 Interactive also published Astral Ascent on PlayStation 4 and 5, while the game is developed by Hibemian Workshop.
Although the game is currently playable on Switch 2 due to backward compatibility, it still lacks a dedicated version. Upgrades in performance may not be significant, but players can expect further enhancements. A possible outcome could be that the Switch version aligns more closely with the current PC version, although that may depend on Nintendo’s approval process rather than the developer’s timeline.
Additionally, players might see major content updates alongside the Switch 2 announcement. Developers have hinted at an upcoming reveal during the Triple-I Initiative showcase, which could mean exciting news is on the horizon.
