Enterprise Rent-A-Car has been recognized for its exceptional customer satisfaction, topping JD Power’s North America Rental Car Satisfaction Study for the second consecutive year. The report surveyed over 7,800 travelers who rented cars at airports and evaluated key areas such as ease of rental, perceived value, and staff performance.
The findings, based on data collected from August 2025 to August 2026, show an overall increase in customer satisfaction, though results varied among companies. Following Enterprise, National Car Rental, a sister brand, secured second place, while Advantage ranked third and Alamo claimed the fourth position. Sixt rounded out the top five.
Michael Taylor from JD Power highlighted the importance of fulfilling vehicle preferences in rental experiences, noting significant improvements in customer satisfaction when reservations met expectations. Currently, 90% of customers report receiving the correct vehicle class, and 85% were able to select a specific vehicle from the lot—both increases from the previous year.
