Pulsar recently unveiled the X5 gaming mouse at the Tokyo Game Show, targeting gamers with larger hands who prefer a lightweight, ergonomic design. This right-handed mouse boasts a prominent thumb shelf and a mid-hump profile that balances comfort with gaming performance, falling between the Keychron M7 8K and Logitech MX Master 4 in terms of aggressiveness.
Weighing approximately 62 grams and featuring an open-bottom design to minimize weight, the X5 is designed for both fast-paced gaming and daily use. It includes an additional side-mounted thumb button alongside the typical back and forward buttons, with early indications suggesting this button may be removable or customizable for better accessibility.
While specifics such as dimensions, pricing, and release date remain unconfirmed, it’s anticipated that the X5 will incorporate advanced internals like the XS-2 Next Generation Sensor and a 32-bit Arm MCU, capable of achieving up to 42,000 DPI, 70 G acceleration, 800 IPS tracking speeds, and 8 kHz polling.
