Construction is underway for a new convenience store and restaurant complex in downtown Binghamton, developed by The Briad Group from New Jersey. This project will introduce the area’s first Circle K location, along with Wendy’s, Dunkin’, and a Papa Johns.
The two-acre site, located on Court Street, cost $1.3 million and is strategically placed between Liberty Street and Brandywine Avenue, just east of Route 363. Notably, the site had been vacant since a three-story Columbia Gas building was demolished.
Key features of the complex will include two dedicated drive-thru lanes for Wendy’s and Dunkin’ and eight fuel pumps at Circle K. The travel center is expected to open in phases by the end of the year, with the convenience store likely debuting first.
