The Orlando Science Center has officially renamed its movie and performance venue to the VyStar Adventure Theater, following a $1 million contribution from VyStar Credit Union. This funding supports the center’s Unlock Science Campaign, which aims to enhance access to STEM education in the region.
The theater will host educational films, live science demos, and community presentations. Key figures from both organizations, including Orlando Science Center President JoAnn Newman and VyStar President Brian Wolfburg, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Newman highlighted the partnership and shared goals, stating the theater will foster exploration and learning in science for families and visitors. Following the ceremony, attendees enjoyed a preview of a 3D film and a live show demonstrating various scientific principles.
