Henderson Welcomes Third Cohort of Small Businesses
LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The City of Henderson, in collaboration with the College of Southern Nevada, has introduced the third cohort of businesses participating in the Henderson Small Business Assistance Program.
The kick-off event for the 2026 cohort was celebrated at Henderson City Hall, marking the beginning of this initiative aimed at supporting local entrepreneurs.
This year, the program features 10 business owners from a variety of industries within the Henderson community. The program, supported by the College of Southern Nevada’s Small Business & Entrepreneurship Development Division and NV Grow, provides invaluable resources and mentorship to these small businesses.
Over the next four months, participants will benefit from personalized advising, technical assistance, and expert-led workshops designed to enhance their business strategies.
“Supporting small businesses is a key component of our City’s economic vitality,” stated Anthony Molloy, director of Redevelopment, Economic Development & Tourism. “We’re proud to invest in local businesses by providing the tools they need to build long-term resilience that benefits our residents and continues to create jobs within our community.”
