Controlled Live Burn Training Exercises at Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station

Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station’s Fire and Emergency Services will conduct controlled live burn training exercises on Tuesday, Thursday, and next Monday, as announced by Peterson Space Force Base.
The exercises are scheduled between 10 AM and 4 PM and will feature visible smoke, flames, and a significant presence of emergency vehicles near the base. Officials advise that these are routine, supervised sessions, and the public should refrain from calling 911 if they observe smoke during these hours.
These live-burn training sessions are essential for certifying military emergency responders and maintaining their skills.
