The Bridge X, presented by Mercedes-Benz USA, returns on September 19, celebrating a decade of an exclusive automotive gathering at the historic Bridgehampton Race Circuit. This event showcases some of the world’s rarest vehicles, drawing from elite private collections globally while honoring the Hamptons’ deep-rooted racing history.
Originally built in 1957, the Bridgehampton Race Circuit became a post-war icon for American motorsport until the early ’70s when Robert Rubin preserved the land, later establishing The Bridge golf club. The event is a collaboration between Rubin, Shamin Abas, and Jeffrey Einhorn. Rubin emphasizes the significance of the site for car enthusiasts, bridging generations of racers and fans.
This milestone also aligns with Mercedes-Benz’s 140th anniversary, marked by the “Lines of Motion” art installation at The Bridge, highlighting the brand’s innovative spirit through vibrant displays. The event will feature distinctive color groupings, including a spectacular array of Porsche and Ferrari vehicles alongside American performance cars and iconic Mercedes-Benz models.
New and returning partners like Volvo, Ferrari, and Breguet will showcase their latest offerings, including an all-electric vehicle debut, luxury timepieces, and bespoke automotive experiences. The event will also host demonstrations of electric aircraft by companies like Blade and Pivotal.
The Bridge X not only honors automotive excellence but encapsulates a lifestyle experience with curated offerings from fashion to gourmet cuisine, all while benefiting local charities. The weekend culminates in a garden gathering at Topping Rose House, further celebrating Mercedes-Benz’s legacy and innovation.
