PwC US is restructuring its offshore delivery operations in India by forming a joint venture with PwC India. This move aims to integrate PwC US’s Acceleration Centers, which provide specialist talent and support, with PwC India’s consulting services. The goal is to enhance collaboration, improve client service, and capitalize on India’s talent and technology capabilities.
According to CEO Paul Griggs, this new arrangement will create growth opportunities and allow for a more efficient service delivery model, streamlining workflows and reducing delays. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2027, pending regulatory approvals.
This initiative reflects a broader trend in professional services towards greater integration and collaboration across global networks, departing from traditional, separate national operations. Griggs emphasized that the focus will be on cohesive service delivery rather than merely where work is done.
