Four Officers Injured When Vehicle Plows into Group of People

Four police officers were injured during a disturbance in Green Bay early Saturday morning. Officers were responding to an incident at a food truck when a vehicle drove into a crowd. During the chaos, an officer discharged their weapon, but fortunately, no one was injured by the gunfire. The vehicle fled the scene but was later stopped by other officers. The driver was arrested for suspected intoxication. The injured officers received medical treatment for non-life-threatening injuries, and body camera footage of the incident will be reviewed. A subsequent investigation, including the officer’s discharge of their firearm, is being conducted by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office. As a precaution, the local farmers market was canceled due to the ongoing investigation.
