GAC’s AION UT Wins Best Exterior Design at TADA 2026
TURIN, Italy — Sept. 12, 2026 — GAC’s AION UT has been awarded Best Exterior Design at the 2026 Torino Automotive Design Award (TADA), celebrated during the Salone Auto Torino 2026. This recognition highlights the model’s distinctive visual identity and GAC’s dedication to blending design with the practical needs of urban life.

The TADA jury praised the AION UT for its “clean, cohesive design and distinctive personality.” With balanced proportions and smooth surfaces, the model showcases a recognizable silhouette devoid of excessive decoration. The cabin design further reinforces its quality and coherence.
Designed in Milan, Built in Austria
Crafted by GAC’s European design team in Milan, the AION UT aims to stand out subtly. Stéphane Janin, head of GAC’s Milan Design Studio, stated, “We designed the AION UT so that it would not quickly go out of fashion… The AION UT strikes the right balance between functionality and personality.” Assembled at Magna’s factory in Graz, Austria, this local assembly enhances supply chain flexibility to meet European market demands.
