Upon defeating the Gammeltroll, it doesn’t collapse but instead transforms into a “Petrified Gammeltroll,” which is impervious to conventional mining tools. Inside it lies a critical resource for your survival in the frozen wastes—Petrified Tissue.

- Ember Charges: Created from:
- Embers: Generated by building the Eternal Pyre in your base after defeating the Ashlands boss, Fader.
- Seal Pelts: Collected by hunting adult seals in the Deep North.

- Combine 1 ember and 2 seal pelts to make 10 ember charges at your workbench.

Attack the Gammeltroll:
- Equip the ember charges and target the Gammeltroll’s ankles from close range.
- Throw two ember charges—one for each ankle.

- Once the Gammeltroll collapses, gather your new resource, Petrified Tissue. Be cautious, this resource is quite heavy and cannot be transported through wooden portals—only stone ones.
