Gene Leyzarovich, the founder of a digital storage solutions company based in Pittsburgh, has donated $35,000 worth of equipment to Seton Hill’s cybersecurity and computer science programs. As a former CEO of Jetstor and a refugee from Russia, Leyzarovich has been actively involved in supporting education, serving on Seton Hill’s School of Business and Technology Advisory Board.
During his recent visit to Seton Hill, he engaged with students in the “Computer Networks: Wired & Wireless” class, discussing essential topics like physical infrastructure and enterprise architecture. His donation comprises two enterprise-grade storage systems, complete with a five-year warranty. This upgrade will enhance the university’s cyber range, allowing more students to participate in extensive labs and simulations simultaneously.
Leyzarovich expressed his hope that this contribution would inspire students to recognize their potential and equip them with the necessary tools and confidence to succeed in their careers.
