Nearly €250 million has been mobilised by Eurobiomed members in the first half of 2026. This includes €228.8 million in private funding and €18.8 million in public funding.
Biotech firms dominate the fundraising scene, accounting for 60.5% of the total raised, compared to medtech at 26% and digital health at 13.5%.
Intensive Support from Eurobiomed
In H1 2026, Eurobiomed provided extensive support, including:
- 49 R&D projects reviewed or supported
- 66 individual company support engagements
- 118 qualified matchmaking introductions
- 312 member participations in ecosystem events
11 companies benefited from the Invest In Biomed programme, dedicated to fundraising preparation, which involved 30 investors and over 75 B2B meetings.
