It seems that a Sand Springs business owner, Kailie Wells, is facing difficulties after someone stole from her store, Reclaimed Consignment. Despite providing the police with comprehensive details, including video footage and the suspect’s license plate, no arrest has been made yet. Wells is frustrated by the lack of progress and is taking measures to enhance security in her store, such as installing a new wall to secure merchandise.
The theft involved a woman who, along with an accomplice, stole four purses while Wells was working. Although Wells acted quickly, recording the incident and gathering information, the police have reportedly found complications due to the suspect residing in a different county. Wells expressed her hope for charges to be filed against the thief, highlighting the financial loss she incurred from the theft, which amounted to around $300.
The Sand Springs police acknowledged that such cases can take time to resolve and promised to provide updates after the holiday.
