Northern Illinois University is teaming up with Wild Roots Nature Center for a STEAM Cafe focusing on prairie restoration science as part of the “Nature on Tap Series.”

Event Details:

• Date & Time: September 8 at 6:30 PM
• Location: Lucha Cantina, 1641 N. Alpine Road, Rockford

What to Expect:

• Learn about prairie restoration projects, including the Eliot Golf Course.
• Get tips for incorporating native prairie plants.
• Discuss the benefits of prairie restoration and discover NIU’s efforts on their DeKalb campus.
