Field of Dreams Draws Visitors and Boosts Dyersville Businesses
DYERSVILLE, Iowa — The Field of Dreams in Dyersville is significantly benefiting local businesses by attracting tourists and hosting events that increase foot traffic in the town.
This past summer, Dyersville held a Major League Baseball game, RAGBRAI, and a three-day music festival, all contributing to heightened activity in the area.
Local business owners are seeing a noteworthy impact from the film site. “I can’t say enough about the Field of Dreams. What they bring to me personally and our business is unbelievable,” said Tom Olberding, owner of Textile Brewing Company.
The recent music festival saw a rain delay on Friday, which inadvertently drew even more visitors to local shops, further enhancing the positive effects on the local economy.
