A local community member expressed gratitude to deputies following an investigation into a family member’s small business, which resulted in the recovery of vital equipment, the identification of over $5,000 in unauthorized transactions, and the arrest of a suspect.
The investigation started when an employee failed to return essential business equipment and was suspected of misusing a company credit card. Deputies quickly recovered the equipment, uncovered numerous unauthorized transactions, and gathered evidence that led to an arrest.
The suspect, 30-year-old Bryan Osorio-Sermeno, faces a felony charge for embezzlement exceeding $5,000, as well as a charge for driving with a revoked license. He was also arrested due to an unrelated outstanding warrant.
The community member conveyed that the deputies’ actions “truly meant so much to our family during a stressful situation.”
