UC Reveals Collaboration with Jeff Wyler Automotive for Jersey Patch Sponsorship | Sports

The University of Cincinnati (UC) is introducing a jersey patch on its football and men’s basketball uniforms as part of a new trend in college athletics. This initiative involves a multi-year sponsorship deal with the Jeff Wyler Automotive Family, a local dealer that has supported UC athletics since 1975.

The jersey patch will be positioned on the left side of the football uniform, near the Nike logo, and on the right side of the basketball uniform, below the Jordan brand “Jumpman” logo. UC athletic director John Cunningham expressed the significance of this partnership, highlighting the Wyler family’s long-standing reputation in the community.

David Wyler, CEO of the Wyler automotive family, noted the meaningful nature of the partnership, which has thrived for over 50 years. With this addition, UC becomes the sixth team in the Big 12 to feature an individual jersey patch deal. The patch will debut during the Bearcats’ home opener against Boston College on September 5.
