ITV has announced a new spin-off of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, titled I’m A Celebrity… The Wild Frontier, set to debut in 2027 in the rugged wilderness of Canada. This revamped format will involve celebrities competing in pairs, a twist revealed by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.
McPartlin hinted at “lots of twists and surprises” while Donnelly assured fans that beloved elements from the original series will remain. The show will feature duos, which could include a celebrity paired with a family member or friend, tackling challenges and eating together as one unit.
The show promises exciting new trials and a chance for viewers to vote for the winning duo during a live grand final in London. ITV’s Katie Rawcliffe stated that the new format will take pairs to spectacular locations while emphasizing teamwork in the Canadian wilderness.
The main show will continue with its regular format in Australia later in the year. The spin-off showcases the ongoing evolution of reality TV, maintaining popular formats while introducing fresh concepts.
