UMass Lowell Women’s Soccer Update
Lowell, Mass. – The UMass Lowell women’s soccer team (1-3-1) is set for a Kennedy Cup showdown against Massachusetts (3-1-0) in Amherst, scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, at Rudd Field.
Series History
The River Hawks have a record of 1-2-4 against the Minutewomen, facing off for the eighth consecutive season. Last year, they played to a 0-0 draw in Lowell, and three of the last four encounters have also ended in draws.
Coach’s Milestone
Head Coach Mira Novak is on the brink of a personal milestone, just one win away from reaching 50 victories, making him the winningest coach in UMass Lowell’s Division I history. He has guided the team to eight straight America East Tournaments.
