Structure Fire in Grand Island
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) – The Grand Island Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Saturday morning at a cleaning business located east of downtown Grand Island.
According to Battalion Chief Zach Moel, the fire began around 9:45 a.m. in the 1800 block of East Seedling Mile Road. Upon arrival, firefighters observed smoke emanating from the loading dock and roof of the facility.
The fire was contained within approximately ten minutes, and all employees were evacuated safely, with no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
