Rick Harrison, the star of “Pawn Stars,” recently underwent emergency bypass surgery after doctors found a serious issue during what was expected to be a simpler procedure. A spokesperson for Harrison’s family reported that he is now resting comfortably and anticipates a full recovery.
Harrison expressed gratitude for the medical team and for the support of his wife, Angie, who has been by his side during this challenging time. He previously noted how important family is to him, especially after facing several personal losses, including the death of his son Adam from an accidental overdose.
Despite the health scare, Harrison shared he was the “happiest he’s ever been” following his wedding to Angie at a Las Vegas chapel. Harrison emphasized the significance of having someone supportive during difficult times, describing Angie as genuinely caring and intelligent.
He also offered encouraging words for those who may doubt finding love later in life, stating, “It’s all about being happy,” and highlighting the beauty of life if one is open to it.
