Patrick Mahomes Sr. is seeking court approval to attend his son Patrick Mahomes Jr.’s NFL games across various states, including Missouri, Nevada, and Ohio. He recently filed a motion in Tyler’s 7th District Court, indicating a commitment to abide by urinalysis testing before and after travel.
Mahomes Sr., a former baseball player, has fulfilled 160 hours of community service and completed a 16-week treatment program for substance abuse. His compliance with probation conditions has been verified by a community supervision officer; he is monitored with an ankle device.
In July, he requested a replacement for this device due to health issues it caused. Mahomes Sr. remains on probation after a violation extended it by two years, stemming from a DWI guilty plea in 2024. He was re-arrested in February for drinking alcohol while on probation but was released the same day due to time served.
