A quick-thinking firefighter in Elkhart County, Indiana, is being hailed as a hero for helping to save a business during a vehicle fire at an automotive shop. Initially reported as a vehicle fire, the situation escalated when an SUV inside the building caught fire.
Before fire crews arrived, a firefighter from Harrison Township, who was nearby, took action by using fire extinguishers to control the flames. Thanks to his quick response and assistance from surrounding fire departments, the fire was extinguished within 30 minutes. Everyone inside the shop managed to evacuate safely, with no injuries reported.
