HINTON, W.Va. (WVVA) – Hinton is on the verge of significant growth in housing and commerce, thanks to plans for the historic New River Grocery building.
Originally constructed around 1910, the New River Grocery has served various purposes, from a rail receiving location for goods to a skating rink in the 60s-80s, and then housing Hinton Hardwoods. After sitting vacant for over a decade, it is set for transformation.
