International Space University Announces UCF’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management as Host for 2027 Space Studies Program
ORLANDO, FL, September 3, 2026 – The University of Central Florida (UCF) will host the 38th International Space University (ISU) Space Studies Program (SSP) next summer. Set to take place from June 21 to August 13, 2027, this program will welcome hundreds of participants from the global space sector to UCF’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management.
The SSP provides an interdisciplinary immersion into the rapidly evolving space industry, having helped over 6,000 alumni since its inception in 1988. The program features a global faculty and includes hands-on workshops, team projects, and networking opportunities tailored for space careers.
Greg Autry, UCF’s associate provost of space commercialization, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Working together with ISU builds on UCF’s leadership in space research, innovation, and education.”
Bob Richards, ISU Founder, commented on the partnership, highlighting Florida’s Space Coast as a vibrant ecosystem conducive to space exploration. “UCF and Florida’s Space Coast are perfectly positioned to deliver a memorable experience for all SSP 2027 participants.”
Notably, UCF’s facilities will also host an Executive Space Course for industry professionals during the program. This unique initiative will offer insights into the latest commercial space developments and the chance to witness rocket launches firsthand.
