San Andreas, CA – Two unusual pets are currently at Calaveras County Animal Services, searching for their owners.
In the past two days, these animals escaped from their homes, and animal services hope to reunite them with their families. On September 2, a tortoise was found wandering in San Andreas. A kind-hearted individual rescued it and took it to the animal shelter. The following day, on September 3, a goat was spotted roaming through the Mokelumne Hill area before also finding its way to the shelter.
Animal services officials are asking the community to help by reaching out if they recognize these wandering animals, so their owners can be notified and reunited with them.
