Analogue Automotive has made a significant impact in the automotive world with their ultra-light Elise restomod, weighing under 1400 pounds. Recently, they unveiled the first customer version of this model, named the VHPK, which carries a staggering price tag of around £350,000 (approximately $473,000). This price is notably higher than the cost of the original Series 1 Elise in the UK, roughly $440,000 more.
For that investment, buyers receive advanced engineering focused on weight reduction and performance. Key features include a central seating position and a carbon-fiber driver’s view, reminiscent of the McLaren F1. Only 35 units of this limited production run will be made.
However, the VHPK retains the original Rover K-Series engine, modified to produce 250 horsepower. This output is impressive, especially considering the car’s lightweight nature, making it comparable in weight to a Honda Goldwing motorcycle.
