Vishay Intertechnology Introduces Low Profile Common Mode Chokes for Commercial and Automotive Use, Featuring Exceptional Shock and Vibration Resistance

Vishay Intertechnology has introduced two new low-profile common mode chokes—ICMS2321-10 and ICMS2321-1A—targeted for high current applications in automotive, energy, and industrial sectors. These chokes are available in both surface-mount and through-hole packages, supporting currents up to 30 A and providing a dielectric withstand voltage of 1500 V DC.

Key Features:

  • Low Profile Design: More resistant to shock and vibration.
  • High Temperature Performance: Operates at temperatures up to +150 °C due to enhanced core design.
  • Rugged Construction: Ideal for applications such as DC/DC converters, high voltage inverters, EMI filters, and motor control noise suppression.
  • AEC-Q200 Qualified: The ICMS2321-1A is suitable for automotive on-board chargers.

Customizable Options:

  • Inductance, impedance, DCR (DC resistance), and current ratings can be tailored.
  • Surface-mount versions are available on tape and reel, compatible with automated assembly.
