Seven women have filed a lawsuit against French celebrity hairdresser Frédéric Fekkai in New York Supreme Court, alleging that he played a crucial role in Jeffrey Epstein’s grooming schemes. The lawsuit claims that Fekkai and an employee routinely provided salon services to women at Epstein’s directive, effectively assisting in the manipulation and abuse of young women and girls.
The plaintiffs assert that Fekkai groomed the victims to fit Epstein’s preferences, including altering their appearances to look younger. They label him as an enabler who capitalized on his relationship with Epstein to expand his hair product line. The women argue that without Fekkai, Epstein’s ability to control and abuse victims would have been severely diminished.
The lawsuit is based on New York’s Gender-Motivated Violence Act, allowing victims to pursue civil actions beyond the typical statute of limitations. Among the plaintiffs is Kersti Ferguson, a former model who alleges she was a victim of Epstein’s abuse for two decades, and Audra Christiansen, a former Playboy Playmate.
The lawsuit cites Fekkai’s Manhattan salon as a hub for victim grooming, where Epstein allegedly brought young women. The women also highlight previous allegations made against Fekkai, which he has denied.
