Swift Telescope Restarted for Final Science Sortie

NASA has activated its Swift Observatory’s science instruments for a final wave of gamma-ray observations following a failed effort to restore it to a stable operational orbit. The spacecraft is expected to re-enter Earth’s atmosphere as early as next month.
