Clymer Central School Faces Staffing Challenges Ahead of New School Year
Clymer Central School is actively seeking to fill a vacant science teacher position as the new school year approaches. Principal Brianne Fadale recently updated the school board on efforts to finalize course offerings amid staffing changes.
Fadale mentioned that they are hopeful to find a suitable candidate during upcoming interviews. “We need to ensure we meet student needs while leveraging our current staff’s strengths,” she stated.
Due to the absence of an art teacher, the school is exploring alternative options, including partnerships with Infinity Performing Arts. This collaboration aims to provide various art classes, such as ceramics and mixed media, with instructors available on selected days.
Additionally, Clymer plans to share Calculus and Geometry classes with Sherman Central School through virtual learning, offering collaborative learning opportunities to students from both districts.
The school is committed to finalizing the best possible solutions to enhance the educational experience despite current staffing challenges.
