CHAGEE Philippines Introduces New Jasmine Tieguanyin Tea Beverages

A lineup of tea-themed activities and merchandise will debut in celebration of International Tea Day.

CHAGEE Philippines is introducing a new line of jasmine oolong tea along with a series of engaging tea-related events in anticipation of International Tea Day on May 21.

On May 8, the chain will launch its BO·YA Jasmine Tieguanyin Tea series, expanding its popular BO·YA Jasmine offerings.

This drink blends jasmine with Tieguanyin, an oolong tea variety renowned for its delicate orchid-like fragrance.

CHAGEE has sourced the Tieguanyin tea leaves from high-altitude farms in Southern Fujian, China, while the jasmine flowers are harvested from Hengxian in Guangxi province.

The BO·YA Jasmine Tieguanyin Milk Tea will be available for PHP159 for a regular size and PHP175 for a large, while the brewed tea version will be priced at PHP130 for regular and PHP145 for large.

The launch will also feature tea-themed merchandise, including a tea-scented charm, a tea icon keychain, and a tea-root tumbler. Some of these items will be available in bundles with BO·YA Family drinks during the promotional period.

Additionally, CHAGEE plans to release a publication that delves into tea culture and heritage, starting on May 21 at select locations.

To celebrate International Tea Day, the brand will host a “Sip and Learn Tea Workshop” beginning on May 11, where participants can gain insights into tea making and tasting led by a tea master.

Another workshop session is scheduled for May 21 at SM North EDSA and will be open to the public through registration via the CHAGEE app. A third session is planned for June 6 at Robinsons Galleria.

From May 18 to May 21, CHAGEE will also offer complimentary Regular BO·YA Jasmine Tieguanyin Milk Tea to the first 100 customers at each Philippine store daily at 3 p.m. during merienda hours.
