WhiteBIT Australia to Host Huddle Up Fundraising Event in Melbourne
MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA, Sept. 04, 2026 — WhiteBIT Australia will hold an exclusive business event in Melbourne on September 10 to raise funds for young athletes in Ukraine. The event features Super Bowl XXIX Champion Ricky Watters as special guest and Honorary Head Coach.

This initiative supports the Field of Hope program, developed with the Lviv Lions, aiming to provide young Ukrainians the opportunity to engage in sports despite the ongoing war.
The event will gather founders, investors, and executives from finance, technology, and sports to raise funds for supporting young athletes in Lviv with necessary equipment and training for flag football, which is set to debut in the Olympics at the Los Angeles 2028 Games.
A Unique Format for Networking
Instead of traditional networking, attendees will participate in Huddle Up, a competitive business networking game led by Watters. Teams will engage in business challenges and activities, closing the evening with awards for standout participants.
Rosa Pagani, CEO of WhiteBIT Australia, emphasized the importance of shared experiences in building relationships:
“You don’t build a relationship across a meeting table. You build it doing something together.”
Supporting Young Athletes
The program provides young athletes from 10 to 18 years old in Ukraine with normalcy through training and competition. Oksana Khrupa from the Lviv Lions highlighted the significance of this initiative:
“Supporting them now means believing in the country we want to see tomorrow.”
Founded by Ukrainian entrepreneur Volodymyr Nosov, WhiteBIT has contributed over 460 million hryvnia (around A$14 million) to humanitarian efforts since the war began. Nosov stated,
“These young people deserve the chance to play, compete, dream big, and look forward to their future.”
Collaboration for Impact
The event is produced by the LEGACY Program, connecting retired professional athletes with charitable initiatives. Vincent Versher from LEGACY noted,
“Sport has always had an incredible ability to bring people together.”
Fundraising is further supported by the EffortX Foundation, focusing on measurable charitable impact and transparency in contributions.
Contributions are welcome from the public via the EffortX platform, ensuring clear tracking of how funds are utilized. To support the Field of Hope Ukraine Flag Football program, visit the campaign page.
