Ko Ji-yong, a former member of Sechs Kies, recently provided an update on his seaside trip with his dog. He shared photos on Instagram from Gangneung, where he noted it was his first seaside trip, accompanied by his pet.
Ko’s appearance, notably in a pink hoodie, sparked attention due to his gaunt look. Recent personal developments reveal that he and his wife, Heo Yang-im, divorced in April 2024. Following their separation, Ko expressed difficulties in seeing his son, claiming he could only visit him six times over two years due to Heo’s alleged restrictions. He filed a legal injunction against her to secure visitation rights and to prevent sharing their child’s photos publicly.
Heo, however, denied these allegations, stating that there was no formal visitation agreement post-divorce and that she has sought court intervention for a visitation ruling. The couple married in 2013 and gained fame after appearing on KBS2’s “The Return of Superman” with their son, Seung-jae, who was born in 2014.
